Do fuzzy glow sticks make great chew toys?

It depends on who you ask. Dogs love them, but be careful. 

The light from glowsticks is created by a harmless chemical reaction. You probably have the chemicals involved in your house already, but they're not intended to be eaten. So the real question is, can your dog bite through the fuzzy sleeve and the glowstick's outer layer to the chemical inside? If so, then a fuzzy glowstick isn't as great a chew toy as it looks like it would be.
