How long will glowsticks glow?
Glowsticks can be expected to glow for 6-8 hours. However, the temperature has an effect on the length of time your glow necklace will hold its light.
In a hot environment, such as a dance or rave as well as warm evenings in the park or at a concert, the light will be brighter but the glow won't last as long. Get extra glowsticks for longlasting events in hot conditions. Cooler temperatures make for less brightness but longer glow time. You can store your glowlights in a cool place -- even in the fridge -- for longer light.
How should you dispose of glow necklaces?
Glow necklaces get their luminosity from a couple of common household chemicals, and contain nothing toxic. Still, we recommend that they be disposed of in places where pets and small children aren't likely to get to them.
